- Handmade Variations: Due to the artisanal process, no two items will be exactly identical. Slight imperfections or variations in design, color, and size may occur. These are not defects but are part of the charm and unique nature of owning handmade jewelry.
- Material Transparency: The specific materials used (e.g., stainless steel, gold-plated, beads, etc.) will be clearly listed in the product description. It is the customer's responsibility to review the material list before purchase, especially if they have sensitivities or allergies.
- Product Representation: We make every effort to display the colors and details of our products as accurately as possible. However, the exact appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen monitor settings.
2. Pricing, Payment, and Orders
- Pricing: All prices are listed in USD (U.S. Dollars) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time.
- Payment: All payments must be processed securely and received in full before an order is confirmed and shipped. We use third-party payment processors and are not responsible for their individual terms and conditions.
- Custom Orders: All custom and personalized orders are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once the order has been confirmed and production has begun.
3. Returns and Exchanges Policy
We aim for complete customer satisfaction. Please review our policy for damaged items below.
- Damaged or Broken Items (Upon Arrival): If your jewelry arrives damaged or broken, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of the delivery date. Please contact us immediately at support@daintylittleash.com with clear photos of the damaged item and the original packaging.
- If the item is determined to be faulty due to a creation defect, we will offer a replacement or store credit, at our discretion.
- Final Sale: Due to the custom, hygienic, and labor-intensive nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges based on change of mind, incorrect size selection (if dimensions were provided), or general dissatisfaction with handmade variations.
4. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk
We entrust the delivery of your items to third-party shipping carriers.
- Processing Time: The time quoted for shipping at checkout is strictly the carrier's transit time. It is separate from our processing/creation time, which is required to hand-make and prepare your order for shipment. Unless otherwise stated, most orders will be processed within 1-2 business days from the time an order is received.
- Carrier Responsibility (Non-Responsibility for Delivery Damage): Once the item leaves our workshop and is accepted by the shipping carrier, Dainty Little Ash is no longer responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage caused during transit or delivery.
- Filing Claims: If your package arrives damaged, lost, or is marked delivered but not received, you must contact the mailing carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx) directly to resolve the issue and file a claim for a potential refund. We are unable to file claims on your behalf.
- Address Accuracy: The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
5. Jewelry Materials and Care
Please note that certain materials used in handcrafted jewelry require special attention.
- Metal Tarnishing: Many metals naturally oxidize and tarnish over time when exposed to air, moisture, and skin oils. Tarnishing is a natural process and is not considered a defect.
- Care Requirement: To maintain the beauty and longevity of your piece, you must follow the detailed Jewelry Care Instructions provided with your order (e.g., avoiding contact with water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals). Damage caused by improper care is the responsibility of the customer.
